I believe we need to think about the way things were in ancient times. Before religion. A simpler time. Thousands and thousands of years ago. What did they worry about? To gather food and water. Family and friendship and a close bond and love to put their arms around and hold close. I think we can all honestly say things were much less complicated in ancient times or maybe they weren’t. Maybe more so we can say they had different problems. I think the ancient people look for God just as in modern times. But were the ancient closer to God than we are now? I don’t know?
When I talk about my philosophy which talks about the spirit and finding God extensively, many people give me the advice of getting back to the way things were, back to the ancient ones. But that is how I think about that right now I think. Yes, we need to lead a more spiritual life and yes we need to lead a more Simple Life. But I don’t think we need to go back anywhere that would be counterproductive, wouldn’t it? I think we need to take the best of what we have learned from the ancients the postmodern the moderns you name it. Our future is whatever we make it. As dr. Brown says. And while everything we have learned up to this point plays a part in that future. The decision is up to us. We are the rulers of our future. We must be careful about what we choose to be important.
